Youth Outreach Worker

The Youth Gambling Awareness Program is an education and prevention initiative designed to raise awareness regarding youth problem gambling. It is a provincial program funded by the Ministry of Health and led by the YMCA of Greater Toronto, Lead Site, in collaboration with other YMCAs across Ontario. The current three positions are available, one for each region, and will service in Owen Sound, Simcoe Muskoka and Windsor, Chatham-Kent. Please indicate the region when applying.

Program Coordinator

Coordination, administration, training, facilitation for our Youth and Adult Restorative Justice Court Diversion Program. Requires an individual committed to ensuring the smooth execution of community justice forums, case management and accountability, recruitment, training, support and supervision of our volunteer facilitators, while supporting the Executive Director in administrative functions.

Residential Night Counsellor (Awake)

This position is responsible for providing high quality residential care for 9 female identified youth (14-18) and youth who are gender fluid, non-binary and transitioning from male to female and female to male in a live-in treatment home. The program is committed to fostering an environment which promotes safety and security for youth who have experienced any or all of the following.

Youth Worker

The Youth Worker will plan and facilitate the Youth Empowerment Program. The Youth Empowerment Program strives to support, empower and improve the lives of youth from diverse ethnocultural backgrounds, MVP youth, and isolated youth between the ages of 13 to 25 in the North Etobicoke Area with a focus on youth that reside in NIAs (Mount Olive, Jamestown, and Kingsview Village, The Westway).

Manager, Integrated Live-In Treatment & Transitional Housing Program

The Manager is accountable for the development of service goals and evaluation of the goals to be attained, ensuring programs are designed, implemented and operated in a manner consistent with the CCA accreditation standards and licensing agreements with funders and its accountability structures.

Gender-Based Violence Caseworker providing wrap around case management support to clients in residential, second-stage housing setting.

UNION: Child Youth Counselor-Temporary

To provide feminist (intersectional)-based compassionate and innovative daily supports, counselling, and therapeutic/activity-based group programing for parents and guardians and their children living in the shelter. To work with each parent to assess and plan for the child(ren)’s safety, educational, counselling, parenting and legal supports needs/requirements.
