The Executive Director will lead the Centre’s operations, administration, and financial stewardship. They will work in alignment with the vision and processes that have been built by co-directors (outgoing), staff team, board and communities central to the Centre over the past several years. The Executive Assistant & Human Resources Administrator will support the executive and corporate administration of Humane Canada while developing the organization’s human resource structure in a remote environment. The role will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Director of Finance & Operations. The Executive Assistant & Human Resources Administrator is required to maintain confidentiality and professionally interact with employees, management, and the public.

Director of People & Culture

The Director of People and Culture is responsible for the management of a comprehensive and innovative human resources program for the WISH Drop-In Centre Society. The incumbent works in collaboration with the senior leadership team members to deliver effective human resources services, including guiding and influencing a values-based culture, performance management, employee engagement, professional development programs, and equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
