Executive Director

Migrant Workers Centre, the only BC organization that provides legal services to migrant workers, is seeking a new Executive Director with roots in the migrant worker experience in Canada, proven experience as a non-profit leader, and skills at legislative and regulatory advocacy.

Coordinator, LGBTQ+ Refugee Programs

Reporting to the Manager, Newcomer Settlement, this position is responsible for the delivery of The 519’s LGBTQ+ refugee programs and services.

Caseworker

Gender-Based Violence Caseworker providing wrap around case management support to clients in residential, second-stage housing setting.

Private Sponsorship Volunteer

Settlement teams are responsible for a variety of tasks in advance of, and after the arrival of the newcomer(s) they support. This can include support related to fundraising, securing housing, government paperwork, researching services, welcoming the newcomer(s), and supporting them through a major transitional process. Teams are not asked to provide any of their own funds, and no resettlement experience is required.
