Seeking an enthusiastic, experienced program facilitator familiar with anti-oppressive and inclusive frameworks. The Contract Program Facilitator will assist our team by leading workshops based on the curriculum of the Homecoming program, engaging with and mentoring youth between 20 and 25, and attending community events to outreach for participants for future cohorts.

The program is designed to help vulnerable, isolated individuals with hoarding tendencies de-clutter, sort and organize their homes. Developed from a harm reduction approach, we provide clients with opportunities that help improve their social, physical, mental and emotional health.
We are effectively recruiting Mentor/Volunteer every month for our Community Connection Mentorship Program. If you are professional, good at communication and willing to support Newcomers with your knowledge/skills, be out Mentor.
This program matches individuals with trained mentors to provide one on one support based on their lived experience with Parkinson’s, either as a person living with Parkinson’s disease, or as a care partner. This connection provides a safe place to brainstorm, share ideas and connect with someone who has similar experiences. You MUST have lived experience as a person living with Parkinson’s Disease or as a Care partner.

Settlement teams are responsible for a variety of tasks in advance of, and after the arrival of the newcomer(s) they support. This can include support related to fundraising, securing housing, government paperwork, researching services, welcoming the newcomer(s), and supporting them through a major transitional process. Teams are not asked to provide any of their own funds, and no resettlement experience is required.
