We offer a broad range of services, including primary health care, dental care, harm reduction, health promotion, counselling, and community development programming. Medical Secretary

General Responsibilities: The Medical Secretary provides initial and ongoing personal and telephone contact to the Clinics’ clients, visitors and staff. Working with other Medical Secretaries to ensure the smooth operation of the reception area, the position performs secretarial and administrative duties and assists other staff in their administrative and professional duties as required. Majority of work will be based at the Queen West site and the position may be expected to work across sites.

Facilities Maintenance Worker

The facilities maintenance worker provides a high standard of building maintenance, provides quality experiences, and ensures the safety of staff, clients, and visitors. Working as an integral part of the centre staff team in relationship building and connecting with clients, ensures excellent client relations and rapport in daily interactions. The facilities maintenance worker provides skilled work in maintenance, repair and general upkeep of centre buildings and equipment.

Overdose Prevention Support Worker – LAUNCH

Striving for excellence in client-centred care and education, you will work as part of the Mobile Covid and Harm Reduction Outreach Services (LAUNCH) team. In the role of a LAUNCH Overdose Prevention Support Worker, you will provide health information and support on safer injection and consumption, monitor clients for adverse reactions, assess, respond to, and support overdose events, and assist in the initiation of emergency responses, as necessary.

Client Support Workers – LAUNCH

The LAUNCH Client Support Worker (CSW) is primarily responsible for program administrative support and direct client task-based work in a short-term capacity. CSWs collaborate with team members including Overdose Prevention Support Workers, Harm Reduction Coordinators, and program management to ensure provision of high-quality harm reduction support to carry out project objectives.

Client Support Worker – LAUNCH (750 Dundas)

The LAUNCH Client Support Worker (CSW) is primarily responsible for program administrative support and direct client task-based work in a short-term capacity. CSWs collaborate with team members including Overdose Prevention Support Workers, Harm Reduction Coordinators, and program management to ensure provision of high-quality harm reduction support to carry out project objectives.

Community Health Worker – Hep C

The Hepatitis C Community Health Worker is responsible for engaging and working with community members who use drugs and/or are Hepatitis C positive through the provision of groups, outreach, and support services/resources to support individuals in accessing and maintaining connections with clinical and harm reduction programs and services.

Registered Nurse – SCS (Pkd)

Reporting to the Manager of Supervised Consumption Services, the Registered Nurse (SCS RN) works as part of a multi-disciplinary integrated Supervised Consumption Service (SCS) as well as part of the larger healthcare team in the Centre.
