According to a national survey conducted by FlightHub, Canadians are prioritizing the ability to work abroad when choosing an employer. Millennials and Gen Z workers are increasingly interested in workcations, where they are able to combine work and travel. Nearly half of Canadians aged 25-40 are considering this arrangement, and some are even planning extended stays of several months. 47% indicated that a company’s foreign work policy would influence their decision to sign an employment contract. Employers will have to consider the shifting expectations of the younger workforce in order to attract and retain top talent.
