Generalist, Human Resources and Labour Relations

The Generalist, Human Resources and Labour Relations collaborates to provide HR support to develop Human Resources programs and initiatives and to deliver day-to-day Human Resources services to attract, engage and retain a diverse and high-performing workforce of staff and managers.Working in a unionized environment, the Generalist, Human Resources and Labour Relations provides advice and support to WOCRC stakeholders on all matters relating to negotiated agreements.

Team Manager – Counselling & Community Response

Responsible for the coordination, implementation and integration of Counselling Services and Community Response, including Community Development and Child & Youth Strategy. / Responsable de la coordination et de la mise en œuvre des services de counseling et de l’intervention communautaire, notamment le développement communautaire, et la stratégie pour les enfants et la jeunesse.

Child and Youth Care Practitioner

Works closely with the Child and Youth Worker and is part of a multi-disciplinary team that addresses and supports issues related to youth ages 12-17, their family and community.

Violence Against Women Counsellor

Providing short-term counselling individually and in groups for the Violence Against Women program.

Crisis/Intake Counsellor

Under the supervision of the Counselling Services Team Manager, the Crisis/Intake Counsellor provides crisis and brief intervention services, information, assessment and referral to clients of the WOCRC.

Facilities Manager – Corporate Services (12 months contract)

The Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the administration and maintenance of the core service sites for WOCRC, to ensure that they meet the needs of the organization, the clients and its employees. The Facilities Manager liaises with contractors regarding the day-to-day maintenance, security, safety and systems of the buildings. The incumbent also acts as the contact for after-hours facilities emergencies.
